Fraud Operations, Responsible Gambling & Customer Support Specialist.
I work where customer support, risk, investigations and technical systems overlap: helping regulated operations teams make clear decisions, protect customers and resolve issues accurately.
About
My background sits across fraud operations, responsible gambling, investigations, customer support and regulated gaming operations. I am comfortable working with sensitive information, following strict procedures, escalating correctly and keeping the customer experience professional even when the case is complex.
I also bring a technical foundation through an Extended Diploma in Software Development, experience with web fundamentals, operating systems and virtualization. I am not trying to present myself as a software engineer; the value is that I understand systems, workflows and troubleshooting well enough to support technical teams and operational processes more effectively.
Experience
The strongest pattern in my background is not one job title. It is the combination of investigations, support quality, regulated decision-making and practical technical curiosity.
Fraud & risk operations
Investigated high-risk account activity and transaction patterns in a fast-moving gaming environment. Focused on evidence, escalation quality and operational risk control.
Responsible gambling
Worked with player behaviour, customer protection measures and responsible gambling procedures where accuracy, sensitivity and policy adherence were essential.
Customer & technical support
Provided front-line support for public healthcare services, handling sensitive queries, technical issues and data-conscious communication in a high-trust environment.
Technical foundation
Extended Diploma in Software Development with exposure to HTML, CSS, Java, C++, Bootstrap, operating systems and virtualization concepts.
Operational tools & collaboration stack
Utilized a plethora of tools in regulated support, risk and operations environments, including Slack, Microsoft Teams, Jira, Confluence, Office 365 and Google Sheets. Used these platforms for case coordination, escalation notes, internal documentation, cross-team communication, tracking operational issues, and keeping investigation/support work organized and audit-friendly.
Core strengths
Projects & practical work
Static website
A personal portfolio built with clean HTML, CSS and light JavaScript, hosted through GitHub Pages. The goal is simple: make my experience readable, credible and easy to verify.
Why it matters operationally
This site is a practical exercise in structuring information clearly, reducing friction for the reader and presenting complex experience in a way that is easy to scan. The same thinking applies to internal documentation, case notes, escalation summaries and support workflows.
Local privacy lab
I dabble with locally hosted and privacy-focused tools such as SearXNG and DeepSeek-based local AI experiments to better understand private search, local inference, service hosting and operational security trade-offs.
Why it matters operationally
Working with local and privacy-focused tools helps me better understand how systems, access, hosting, search and data flow fit together. The operational value is in understanding trade-offs, documenting setup decisions and thinking carefully about reliability, privacy and usability.
Systems practice
Practical interest in operating systems, virtualization and local services. This supports my broader aim of moving closer to technical support, systems support and operational tooling roles.
Why it matters operationally
My interest in operating systems, virtualization and local services supports how I approach operational support: symptoms, root causes, reproducibility, handoff quality and clear documentation.
Development direction
I am deliberately building on my operational background rather than trying to discard it. Fraud, responsible gambling and support experience give me judgement. Technical learning gives me better ways to understand systems, communicate with technical teams and solve support problems with more context.
The roles I am most interested in sit near fraud operations, AML/RG operations, customer support, technical support, trust and safety, payment operations and regulated service environments.
Personal edge
Outside work, I am drawn to practical disciplines: calisthenics, motorcycles, the outdoors and skill-building. I include that here because it reflects how I approach work: controlled improvement, patience, responsibility and learning by doing.
